Industry Associations

The Alberta Allied Roofing Association (AARA) is a well respected Association of Roofing Professionals dedicated to the roofing industry and the customers it serves. The Association represents member companies providing residential and commercial services on sloped and flat roof applications in the Province of Alberta.

Alberta Roofing Contractors Association (ARCA) was established in 1961 by a group of Calgary and Edmonton roofing contractors. The association’s primary objective, then and now, is to develop comprehensive guidelines for roofing product applications to support and advance Alberta’s roofing industry.

The CRCA leads the Canadian roofing industry, advancing the success of roofing contractors through technical expertise, standards of practice, and collaboration with industry partners.

Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) is “the voice of Canada’s residential construction industry.” Representing one of the largest industry sectors in Canada, our membership is made up of some 8,500 companies – including home builders, renovators, land developers, trade contractors, product and material manufacturers, building product suppliers, lending institutions, insurance providers, and service professionals.

The Lumber and Building Materials Association of Ontario, Inc., established in 1917, is a non-profit association comprised of Ontario retailers of lumber, building materials and hardware as well as suppliers who are manufacturers, distributors, buying groups, wholesalers or service firms selling products or providing services to the retail lumber, building materials and hardware trade.

 The National Roofing Contractors Association has been the home for generations of entrepreneurial craftsmen and enterprises who shelter and protect America’s families and businesses and each other. Their vision is the recognition of our members as professionals and to unite the industry to that purpose. NRCA is one of the construction industry’s most respected trade associations and the voice of roofing professionals and leading authority in the roofing industry.

National Women in Roofing (NWIR) is a volunteer-based organization that supports and advances the careers of women roofing professionals. The pillars of our organization are: networking, mentoring, education and industry recruitment opportunities from the rooftop to the boardroom, for the young professional at the start of her career to the seasoned manager in the executive suite.

CHBA’s Net Zero Energy Housing Council (NZC) supports innovation in our industry with the goal of creating a market advantage for CHBA builder and renovator members pursuing Net Zero Energy performance. The Council’s work will help to meet the housing aspirations of Canadians, and renew Canadian leadership in high performance housing.

The Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Association (OIRCA) is a professional group of union and non-union industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) roofing and sheet metal contractors, product suppliers/ manufacturers and building science consultants/engineers. Through the Association’s Labour Relations Section, OIRCA is the Employer Bargaining Agent (EBA) for union roofing contractors in the Province of Ontario.

The OCA is one of the largest regional construction associations in Canada. The OCA works to maintain and promote industry best practices that, if followed, promote business decisions and relationships that respect the principles of fairness, ethics and teamwork and service to minimize costly misunderstandings, disputes and delays in the construction industry.

Roofing Contractors Association of British Columbia (RCABC) is a roofing industry advocacy group working on behalf of our members, the industry, and the general public. RCABC participates on a variety of advisory committees focused on the construction industry, construction industry standards and government advisory agencies.

The Siding Contractors Association of Alberta (SCAA) is a non profit construction trade association that is focused on improvement and advancement of the Siding Industry in Alberta. We set professional standards for our members; provide continual learning & sharing opportunities; and represent our members on issues impacting the industry.

The Toronto Construction Association (TCA) is one of Canada’s oldest and largest associations of Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) practitioners with over 1,800 member companies across the GTA. Their mission is to create opportunities for our members to grow individual businesses and build connections with other ICI practitioners to help boost the growth and quality of Toronto’s construction industry.
